it’s really fun but missing a trick by not having lots of gore and blood because one of our pals doesn’t cooperate with the team and runs ahead of us and I really just need to see his head split open when he eats shit and falls 🧗♂️⤵️💥🩸

WARNING TO STREAMERS! People can HACK into your game! I attempted to stream this today with x3 other streamers and we all had to quickly cancel the game due to an unknown situation.
First, when my group (me and three chill friends) loaded into the airport, there was another person with us. No name to them. They didn't talk. They stepped out of the elevator and immediately died and turned into a skeleton. After a moment, another skeleton spawned nearby. We thought this was very odd and unsettling but that wasn't the worst part.
Second, once we got to the island was the real problem. The four of us ran ahead to find food, barely a minute or two from spawn. Suddenly, all of us had Megaphones in our inventory. At the same time, the megaphones blasted an audio file which was STRAIGHT UP racial slurs. Some of us immediately turned off stream. We muted, removed VODs, etc. and the x3 that were with me were very upset by this interaction.
This reminds me of the Webfishing thing some time ago where someone was able to hack into lobbies, obtain IP addresses, and do all kinds of nonsense. It seems like Peak may be in a similar boat. I hope the devs can fix it because this is a wonderful game otherwise!
i love playing with my dad . especially when i die , i can guide my dad where to go and find our way up , and the ghost was very funny LOL .I think this game is really fun . we completed level three, then my dad died at the start , so i lost the compass and can't find my way up the mountain. i hope we can finish the fourth one . and pls comment me what is the frog plushi use for at the start? btw , i hope the game have more modes.

Peak is a blast. It’s one of those games that makes you say “one more try” until it’s 3am and your friend is yelling at you in voice chat because they fell off the same cliff for the 12th time.
At one point, my friend made it halfway up, bragged about how easy it was, then misclicked and yeeted himself into the void. I laughed so hard I fell too. 10/10, best co-op rage therapy. We’re both worse people now, but better gamers.
Hard? Yes. Fun? Absolutely.
Buy it and suffer with friends.
Not even 5€ and honestly? Already one of my favorite co-op memories.
Played with Chris, Joey, and Phil. Phil actually made it to the top, while the rest of us were just three useless little ghosts floating around and screaming through proximity chat. The way your friend falls and the scream just gets quieter as they plummet? Never not funny.
We were laughing the entire time. Helping each other up, failing together, blaming Joey for everything and somehow still surviving long enough to see new biomes. The game’s brutal, but not in a bad way. It makes every little win feel like a miracle.
It’s janky, yeah, but in that charming “let’s do one more run” kinda way. And the map changes every day, so there's always something new to mess up.
TL;DR: We didn’t reach the peak. Phil did. The rest of us just screamed a lot and had the best time.
10/10 would get ghost-carried again.
Just wish there was a way to pause the damn game when you play solo... When did this become the norm? It happens so often in games now. Really wish I could walk the dog or go out to buy groceries or cook a meal without losing a good run. Will change to recommend if fixed. Great game otherwise, truly.

You see, the title of this game is Peak, alluding to the objective the player undertakes through the experience: attempting to scale to the supposed “peak” of the mountain. However efficient the title is in conveying the game’s ambition, its simplicity leaves me with a tragic challenge when dealing with the aftermath.
The average player, with an understanding of modern colloquialisms, could easily spot a clever correlation between the title and the slang term “peak,” often used to describe a thoroughly enjoyable thing, one that’s on par with the very best. Herein lies my dilemma: do I, in favour of brevity and resonance with the Steam community, leave a witty review comparing the two meanings and describe them as one and the same? For example: “Peak is peak.” It’s clever, surely it would garner a few thumbs up from passing users who hadn’t yet made that connection themselves. They might smile and think, “How clever, if only I’d thought to boil my thoughts down into such a snappy sentence.”
And yet, can I dare assume such a simple observation is uncommon in the minds of others? Nay, I mustn’t. To do so would be to give in to the baseline originality so beloved of modern consumerism. One must dare to look beyond the walls of plain wit and dull showmanship, beyond dry truths and black sarcasm, past the folly of assuming that sheer observations framed in precise ways are the secret truths to the human soul's understanding of the world!
Nay! I will not succumb. There is beauty in the complex cosmic web of creation, the cycle of consumption that breeds creations. creations that go forth to breed consumption, breeding more creation. One must not yield to the temptations of simplicity, destroying the foundations of creativity, foundations built upon the history of art throughout all time. Built upon humanity’s collective experience, shared through love and the eternal human desire to push forward and improve. Nay! You must not! Do not be enslaved! Push forward and be great! Push upward and climb to the top! Push onward and reach the peaks of what the mortal body and mind are capable of!

No game has ever tripped the circuit breaker in my house. Didn't know that was possible until I hit the quit button on PEAK. I've been able to replicate this multiple times. WOW!
My brother never offers me his hand to help me up and when I help him up he pulls me down.
What a tragedy, but this game is a fantastic romp up a mountain of struggles. It is truly fitting.
I really enjoy how the achievements show as badges on your sash, its amazing!! DETAILED!!

Peak is a great game honestly, Climb a mountain together with your friends and get multiple items during this adventure, its really funny if for example someone falls down and in proximity voicechat you hear how is voice gets more silent and silent while falling :D
