Every boss fight feels like a parent beating their kid in Mario Kart just to prove a point. I walk in confident, dodge once, and then instantly get folded like a IKEA chair. The death screen should just have a “welcome back” mat on it for me at this point.
The passive tree? That thing isn’t a skill tree, it’s a conspiracy theory diagram. I click the wrong node and suddenly my tanky warrior is role-playing as wet toilet paper.
And the loot… oh man. I slay a god-like creature that shoots 40 lasers and earthquakes at the same time… what do I get? Sandals. Meanwhile the boss is wearing an outfit that looks like it came from Louis Vuitton x Diablo collab.

No endgame.
Max level and bis gear after 30 min, super lame, game is also super easy, never died and 1 shot all the bosses with vendor gear.
Diablo 4 is much better
There is something here that can be great and a lot is already really good. Lots of really fun improvements from PoE 1, especially Act 1 & 2.
Endgame is far from perfect and balance is wonky at best. Loads of stuff feels like it's very much very early access, which isn't strange obviously... But keep that in mind if you're considering diving in.
