After playing on console my whole life, i finally decided to make the jump to pc for cheaper prices on games, better graphics and free online play. So I bought a pre build pc with a 5090 and 9950x3d installed and with it came a free copy of Borderlands 4, which I had looked forward to, since I've played and finished all the other games.
Now first of all, the gameplay itself is fantastic and the story so far is intertaining, although I really miss seeing more of other Borderlands characters than what I have seen so far, which at times makes it seem like a completely different game story wise.
But the main issue is that while I love playing the game and wanting to see how this new part in the Borderlands franchise plays out, the game doesn't love to be played. Constant crashes on what is supposed to be the best of the best in regards to pc parts and it is incomprehensible to me why I am experiencing such issues.
I have tried changing so many different settings in graphics or fps limits, updating drivers and such, and sometimes it has actually helped, but now I haven't been able to play it for two straight days in a row. It messes up the flow of the story and my progression, while making me want to drop the game completely and just wait for the many other games that are coming out soon such as Silent Hill F, Final Fantasy Tactics, Battlefield 6 or play some old school games that work as well.
What an introduction to high end pc gaming Borderlands 4 has been...
seriously, my trust in 2K has been lowered quite a bit after this release..
Endgame is utterly boring.
Difficulty doesnt matter drop wise, no reason to increase UHT.
Encore/BIG encore is the same loot wise. wtf is this BS.
There is no reason to keep playing after story ends, unless you wanna farm a boss.. that looks like this:
Spawn in, Activate Encore, kill boss, run back, reactivate encore, kill boss, run back. EVERY 20 sec if you'rte slow. You think D4 had bad endgame? This beats it.
