The Rogue Trader is relentlessly, overtly difficult from the the get-go. When you finally get a team that actually works and you DARE to enter the chapter three, you die; That's it. The arena fights are simply not doable for a regular casual gamer. So, much like myself, you can just treat the ascension rite at the very end of Chapter 2 your end game. You'll get very satisfying 40h of gameplay. Just do not go to the Voitgr ambush and consider the game beat. The rest of the game should remain a mystery and not worth the endless suffering.
