Game is good but the 3 hour unskippable cutscene of Kris and Berdly making out was a bit unnecessary...

this game feels like someone takes you on a happy, whimsical adventure for 3 hours and then spits in your face, kills your dog, tortures your family in front of your very eyes and gives you irreparable emotional damage for the rest of your life. my life is deltaruined. 10/10.

DELTARUNE is by far the best Indie game you can buy on Steam at the moment, as there is not a single other game within its genre that pushes boundaries in the way that it manages to accomplish. Currently there are 15+ hours of content and the game has only 4 chapters thus far, with 3 more planned. While obviously there are chances of delays, the next chapter is scheduled for 2026. This game is ALREADY worth well over its 25$ price tag and it's barely even halfway done. This game genuinely has more replayability than most triple A games out now, and has so many secrets ranging from massively game-changing to fun little easter-eggs. I have played hundreds of games in the past, and on steam alone I own 100+ games, however I'm not ashamed to admit that DELTARUNE is the only one to make me genuinely cry tears of joy. I would recommend this game to anyone, my best friend, my worst enemy, the pope, or you, the person reading this review. Just like any of Toby Fox's games, please go into this game as blind as possible. both UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE pride themselves on their rich story, and you'd be potentially robbing yourself of the best gaming experience out there were you to spoil yourself on it. That being said, even if you have been spoiled on major story elements or have watched someone play, at the bare minimum play the demo. It's 2 chapters. That's half of the entire game that's out now, FOR FREE.

The thought that someone might read this review, and decide to try Deltarune... It fills me with determination.

DELTARUNE tomorrow was yesterday. This game has given me DETERMINATION to live longer and fulfill my HOPES & DREAMS. Anyone who wants to live a good adventure with characters better developed than most games and some F*ing good music should play this game. Roxas out.

Do I even need to speak about this game? It's great. Buy it. Buy it for your parents. Buy it for their parents. Buy it for Leo. Buy it for that roach that wont get out of your room but its okay because it'll probably die within the week. Buy it as many times as you possibly can. Buy it more than that. EDIT: 1. I forgot I was Toby Fox when writing this review. 2. This messages value increases each chapter. No but like actually every next chapter seems to be better than the last, it's honestly incredible. Moral of the story go buy the game please support your fellow indie devs and just have fun man, it's well worth it.

It ain't Helldivers 2, but it's still pretty good. Still waiting for the part where Asgore hits Dess with a car. Maybe the true friends were inside of us all along.

even if its only 4/7 of the chapters, i find it better than undertale in most aspects, the battles are more vibrant, theres more environments, the characters are more expressive. the only downside is that papyrus is busy, i guess hes playing dragon blazers. oh and you cant go on a date with him, that needs to be fixed
