So yesterday, I was checking out the butcher shop, eyeing some juicy cuts of meat, when I overheard a couple of vegans absolutely losing it. Apparently, they picked up a slab of beef, paid for it, took a big ol’ bite, and then started screaming, “OMG, THIS ISN’T CABBAGE!! REEEEE!!” Like babes, you were in the meat section. What did you expect—soy air? Now if that painfully dumb scenario sounds familiar, it’s because it perfectly sums the few negative reviews this game has gotten. Clueless tourists see the pretty anime waifus, click purchase without reading a single word, and then act scandalized when they realize: “Wait... there's hardcore seggs in this hardcore seggs game?!” Shocking, I know. Truly award-worthy levels of denial. I wasn’t even planning to pick this game up. But after seeing the outraged shrieking from people who thought they were buying a meditation app and got a thighjob instead? Yeah, I whipped out my wallet immediately. Just to spite the cabbage crusaders. Medium rare, baby. Let’s freaking eat! Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk about the game itself. First and foremost, this is the very first title in its genre I’ve played that supports 200fps—and for that alone, it already earns a solid recommendation from me. At first, I scoffed, thinking, 'Why would I need 200fps just to watch still images and looping animations?' But somewhere along the way… I realized: it’s not just a luxury—it’s a necessity. You play as Oretti, a ginger fox girl living a quiet life in a peaceful village with your furry dad and your blonde fox-girl sister, Melanie. The biggest threat you face? Oversized boars that barely count as a nuisance—they're tutorial fodder at best. Right away, you’ll notice the combat is... well, kind of garbage. But let’s be honest—you didn’t pick up this game for the combat. In fact, you’ll probably want to lose. Just when life in the village starts feeling cozy, you suddenly remember the game is titled Jerez Arena 3. There’s no arena in sight, and you still don’t know who—or what—“Jerez” even is. Enter the orcs. And not just in the combat sense. The moment your attacks start bouncing off these green bastards like wet noodles, you know your peaceful life is over. You wake up enslaved, property of what can only be described as your average Reddit moderator: big, greasy, and perpetually sweaty. Your new job? Train up your stats, earn coin however you can, and survive the brutal life of a gladiator. Along the way, you'll explore the grimy city you're trapped in, solve other people's problems (or ignore them), and make choices that shape your fate. Depending on your actions, you’ll unlock different endings—some wholesome, some horrific… though depending on your tastes, they might all be “good” endings. But I digress~. I personally don't jive with the design of the main heroine for this game. The aesthetic choices—particularly the emphasis on certain physical features—didn’t quite align with my tastes. My tastes lean more toward subtler character designs—think elegance over excess—so the emphasis on large busts felt a bit much for me. However, bust size preferences aside, I can’t deny that the character designs are visually stunning. Each one is crafted with a strong sense of style and appeal. My personal favorite is the silver-haired elf, Ailofen, whose design aligns most closely with my aesthetic preferences. I personally feel the experience would have been even more engaging had she taken center stage as the main character. Every CGI is a feast for the eyes. The visuals are top-tier across the board, but the 200fps animated scenes crank things up to another level. Watching the girls get taken in such obscene clarity and smoothness? Let’s just say it left an impression—in more ways than one. This game had amazing sounds. With properly voiced characters and some surprisingly evocative performances, the moans alone nearly made me blush. If I were a guy, I’m pretty sure I’d have been pitching a tent. This is best enjoyed in private—preferably with headphones and locked doors. This one’s a must-play for anyone who considers themselves an eroge aficionado. Had Ailofen been the star, I’d be screaming 'masterpiece' from the rooftops. Still, even with the fox girl up front, it earns a strong 9.5/10 in my book.

Just like No Mercy, Jerez Arena 3 is another disgusting rape simulator. I’ve reported it to Valve and sent the grim details of this “game” to several media outlets. Eurogamer has confirmed they will be writing an article soon. Games like this are exactly why we need Steam Greenlight back. Steam has become flooded with shovelware or whatever excuse the weeaboo crowd comes up with next to push this trash. Having rape in your game is bad enough, but the fact the protagonist looks like a literal child makes this far worse. Japan seems incapable of making hentai games where adults actually look like adults, and their obsession with sexual violence is sickening. This lolicon behavior should never have been allowed to get this far. The comments blaming rape survivors only make things worse. That kind of toxicity is unacceptable. Hopefully, this will be the next game to be banned. I’m also planning to email the owners of Itch.io, in case the devs try to move their pedophilic rape simulator there as a fallback. Call me woke all you want isn't gonna change the fact that this is absolutely disgusting and it's not hard to see why Japan has a serious Rape issue when these games are so normalised, when every street has a loli on it, it's disturbing to say the least. These games do have an impact to the point where Japan has women only Carriages for survivors and they're constantly full.

I felt bad for the girls. Anyone who enjoys anything non consensual should be put on watch list and locked up away from society

The animation is really good, however if SA is a trigger this isn't your game. The story is so far good, and the game is a bit challenging. Also, where is goblin slayer when you need him. This game is pretty fun, and east to lose track of time to grind for the attributes in the game. 10/10

Story is not that great, combat kinda sucks, leveling up your character feels like crap, I like the previous 2 games but this third one is big time crap. I would refund it but I've sunk too much time into trying to enjoy the game.

Aside of the sexual abuse scene (which I didn't like), the game actually is very decent! There're very few hentai game that I play again to get other endings , and this is the one. Combat system is easy to understand and it is very intuitive in how you find new skills by training with other people rather than just getting a skill book. The lust system feel a little bit underwhelming as your character can deal damage base on lust, but cannot raise lust by herself like other character. The hentai scenes (except for the violence, abusive scene), actually is kinda nice. I recommend anyone to play this game and overlook the abusive part if you don't like it.

TLDR: Recommended This one is on par with the first Jerez's Arena. Story is excellent, with the theme focused on the enslaved foxkin rather than the slaver. Your choice to resist or submit would lead to different consequences. There are side events to look for to help keep you busy, with relevant story that ties in to the main story (and not those crappy run of the mill delivery quests). While AP is limited, it is still plenty enough for you to do all of them, and finishing these side quests awards a balanced amount of stats, items, and potentially CG, making them quite worthwhile. There is combat H against bosses, guards and other gladiators in the arena (from non to full on H at higher level). You have 5 hearts per fight to stay sane, so you can enjoy the H and then finish it (this actually boost your battle result rating and can go up to SS). In total, there are 40 scenes + combat H, with 7 endings (3 main story branches). So it is worth the bang for the buck.

Concise Game Reviews: Jerez’s Arena Ⅲ <ホレスの格闘場ⅲ>

(Scroll down for the longer version)
Game Value: Highly recommended for fans of dark fantasy RPGs with a strong corruption theme, turn-based combat, and branching routes based on choices and submission. Oretti, the fox-eared daughter of a peaceful tribal chief, is kidnapped and sold into slavery. Now imprisoned in the underground Shadow District of Jerez, she must endure brutal training, sexual abuse, and battles in the arena to survive. As she meets allies like Shanta and the fallen empress Ailofen, she’ll begin to resist her fate—or fully embrace it. Multiple endings await based on whether she clings to hope or becomes the plaything of her captors. Can Oretti break free from the Shadow District, defy the slave mark’s control, and reunite with her family before Gulos turns her into his obedient pet forever?

Detailed Review:

🔑Key Features: ⚔️ Arena Battles & Turn-Based Combat: Climb the ranks in brutal fights. Winning grants gold and unlocks new routes; losing often leads to unique defeat H-events. 💔 Corruption Progression: Oretti's mental and physical state evolves based on player choices. Her slave tattoo reacts to submission and desire, unlocking new scenes. 📸 40 Unique H-CGs: Includes a variety of static and partially animated H-scenes, influenced by corruption level, job path, and defeat conditions. 💋 Job-Based Routes: Choose between brothel work, tavern service, or pure arena combat. Each path has distinct storylines and erotic content. 👑 Allies & Resistance Paths: Build bonds with Shanta and Ailofen to unlock side quests and potential resistance arcs. 🎭 Branching Endings: Outcomes vary based on corruption and player decisions—escape, rebellion, death, or total submission to Gulos.
🌟Overview:
Jerez’s Arena Ⅲ is a dark, erotic RPG where you guide Oretti—a fox-girl slave—through humiliation, resistance, or submission. Traditional JRPG combat blends with a branching corruption system, making every choice matter as she struggles to survive in the Shadow District.
🎮Gameplay:
🗺️ Map & Sub-Locations: Explore key areas like the Alley, Tavern, Guard Post, Forest, Brothel, and Gulos’s mansion. Each zone has sub-locations—e.g., the Slums (via the Alley) host a masseur, thief, and betting den. 🕒 Day Cycle & AP System: Days are divided into time blocks (morning, midday, evening, night). You get 4–6 AP per day. Actions like working, training, or triggering events cost 1 AP. Moving between areas is free. 👥 NPC Movement & Events: Characters like Ailofen and Shanta change location daily. Spot their icon on the map to trigger events or unlock skills equipable in 4 active slots. 📅 Timed Scenes & Planning: Some quests or scenes are only available at specific times. Managing AP carefully is key to accessing critical story content. ⚔️ QTEs & Combat Events: Certain fights and erotic scenes feature quick-time events. Outcomes depend on player input and affect what follows. 🧼 Dirt & Clothing Damage: Oretti can get dirty or have clothes torn in combat. Clean up at the forest creek or repair outfits by resting in her room at Gulos’s mansion.
📖Story and Depth:
Jerez’s Arena Ⅲ is more than just fetish fuel—it’s a slow descent into darkness. Oretti’s journey from a hopeful young woman to a used and broken slave (or vengeful rebel) is told with surprising emotional weight. Shanta’s hopeless acceptance and Ailofen’s faded regality add layers to the narrative. Gulos, the perverse ruler of the Shadow District, serves as a cruel reminder of the depths you may sink to. Will Oretti endure, break, or use her body as a weapon to manipulate her way out?
🏆Verdict:
As a fan of the previous Jerez’s Arena titles, this third entry stands out as the most polished yet. Combat is fast and satisfying, with directional inputs and frequent QTEs that trigger during training, ambushes, and critical scenes. Success can help avoid danger, resist assault, or improve stat gains. There’s plenty of content for the price—over 40 H-CGs (some animated), a full uncensored experience, and a structured daily system built around Action Points. The map includes varied locations and sub-areas, with distinct characters, side jobs, and event routes to explore. Visually, it’s a treat: beautiful art, strong character design, and a great soundtrack that enhances both emotional and erotic moments. With branching paths, strong writing, and rewarding replay value, it’s easily one of the best dark RPGs I’ve played recently.
Good:
👍 Well-written corruption routes with meaningful choices 👍 Varied jobs and daily systems tied to Lewdness progression 👍 40+ H-CGs, some animated, fully uncensored 👍 QTEs during combat, training, and key story events 👍 Clear mission tracking and structured daily flow 👍 Memorable heroines, stylish visuals, and strong soundtrack 👍 NG+ and scene replay add lasting value
👎Could Be Better:
👎 No voice acting 👎 Some scenes depend on specific routes or conditions

I don't normally write reviews but I feel like people can be mislead due to other negative comments. The negative comments seem to be talking about how horrifying and dark the story is. But the truth is that this game has no actual gore, has no 17+ kind of graphics like those... Sinisistar games... Anyways, there are death of background characters but again, no gore that's graphic. People die in the background, mainly because of the antagonist. It's horrible, but that's the whole story, or maybe the creators' dark side of the real world reimagined. That's also the given reason why people are getting fcked in this H-game. There are slaves, prostitutes, horrible people, and furries. I bought this game even after seeing the higher than expected price because I really enjoyed the demo, QTE is also kinda fun. The story is pure dark and horrible, yes. But that's just the excuse to put H-scenes in. And if you don't like managing or saving and repeat process, this and many H-games of the same kind are not for you. I'm not comparing the better alternatives here, you know, I kind of want you to give this game a try. About other things: I've beaten the game, true ending. I'm replaying for alternatives. The whole gameplay is fine, could be better, could be sold at lower price, but I do not regret buying it. Downsides are that the game either doesn't seem 100% finished (It's about 97%.), or it's the problem with budget. It's like they may have realized that some things don't go well together mid-progress but there's no going back now kind of stuff. Lastly about the game price, 20$ is high for a H-game, right? Well, yeah. But I kind of understand that there are a lot of CGs, lots of alternatives, some of them may only be achievable on New Game+ (beat the game once and get 20% of stats back) The unlock all CGs function is going to be here soon, so no worries. Also the game seems pretty niche by the way they write the story. Rest of the downsides are minor inconveniences during gameplay, but it's fine. Well this game is one of a kind, and they did a (not the best) decent job putting it all out.
