This game might be the most overhyped game i've heard of.
It's not a bad game by any means but it's extremely overhyped and doesn't bring anything new to the table.
I see a combat system that is flawed with sony's classic "sticky/magnetic" enemies that doesn't rely on hitboxes but rather how close you are to a target instead. Story is mediocre and i couldn't get through half act II as the game fills the missions out with "follow that companion, fight these enemies, go there and talk to this NPC" throughout.
Graphics and stability is the only thing i can give a good score for this game but everything else utilizes old mechanics that gamers such as myself have seen a million times in most commonly the AC games.
I bought this on sale for 40€ but i wouldn't recommend it for that price.
Wait for a few years and see if you can hog it for 10€ or something.
Don't fall for the overhype.

To be honest one of the best if not the best story game I've ever played.
Not often I feel a game is worth 60+ but Ghost of Tsushima definitely is.
The story, graphics, details, combat and what ever you can think of = top!
One downside, a few achievment bugs..
Highly recommend! +++

The visuals are commendable overall, complemented by well-executed Japanese voice acting. Certain aspects of the main storyline proved engaging. However, the game falters significantly in several key areas.
The conclusion is notably underwhelming. Combat mechanics lack polish, and the gameplay mechanics are not sufficiently refined. The progression system lacks depth, and the four distinct stances fail to provide meaningful gameplay variation. The world design feels derivative and sparse, while side missions and the overall gameplay loop quickly become monotonous. Each hour of play feels disproportionately lengthy, ultimately detracting from the overall experience.
Given these shortcomings, I'm relieved not to have purchased a PlayStation solely for this title. There exist more compelling samurai-themed games, such as Way of the Samurai and Spirit of Sanda, which offer superior experiences.
