this game seems good on the surface, but the gameplay, choices, story, dialoque, skills, pretty much everything lacks or feels superficial. the best part of this game is the world building and the detail, only if they had put that effort in fixing the bugs and polishing EVERY OTHER ASPECT of the game

Yes it lives up to the hype, the storytelling is like you expect from cdprojektred, played for a few hours, have not seen any obvious bugs yet. no crashes aswell, seems day1 patch solved many a problem. Running a i7 with 16gb ram and a 1070, runs great on ultra/high. -update after 40 hours- Finished the main storyline... awesome story, liked the references to the movie fightclub... Seen a few bugs, had some minor graphic glitches but nothing gamebreaking, also some sound issues where a storm had past, but you could still hear it, after saving the game and reload it was fine though... nothing gamebreaking seen by me... as said before, it runs great on my system, but i always make sure i have the latest drivers installed and everything is updated... hope this helps some people deciding...

Save your Cash. i buy this at 50% discount still not worth it. 1.6 was suppose to be the changer not for me, i didnt see the release of the game but if everyone say they fix a lot then poor people that bought this for full price. I still got alot of bugs: audioskips in missons/cutscenes, damage of the car if you call it to you (and no repairshop haha), hair that goes wild, npc that go on top of eachother to buy stuff at the vendingmachines and i could go on. maybe it will be fixed in a year or 5. Even WatchDogs Legion is 10 times better. Lucky there are tones of mods on Nexus to keep me busy, love that the community try to fix this game.

Not GTA, not Witcher.... but still an AWESOME experience of a future as we've only seen in Blade Runner. Bugs are mostly gone, and skill system needs some work, but the atmosphere is all worth it. 7.5 / 10.

Amazing story with amazing visuals but absolute dumpster fire gameplay wise. The first trailer that came out for this game back in 2012 spiked my interest, but it wasnt until the HUGE E3 reveal trailer that i became very involved and hyped for its release. What was supposed to be a gamechanger in the sci-fi RPG genre became a relentless unplayable dumpsterfire which was kind of shocking considering how long this game was in the works for and the very false promisses that were made through their advertising and marketing campaigns. Unique mechanics and other content that were promised during the gameplay reveal trailer, as well as the launch trailer were no were to be found in the game, and still are absent in the current patch. This game could've been a HUGE gamechanger for everyone involved but due to the false promisses the developers made during the E3 presentation and the over the top marketing campaigns, this game became an instant joke, which is really sad considering the story the game has to offer is absolutely mind-blowingly well written and executed. I personally enjoyed this game since i'm a huge sucker for the Cyberpunk-genre in general and can really enjoy how much CP2077 is heavily influenced by Bladerunner/Ghost in the shell etc as long as you are able to look past its major flaws and are prepared to use the quicksave/quickload options alot since you never know when this game crashes out of nowhere or gamebreaking glitches prevent you from finishing important missions, its was still a nice experience to me personally. However if you're looking for a well running, actually playable rpg-experience i recommend looking further, atleast until CDPR is done counting their money and actually starts fixing the game out of its current state and bring out their already overdue DLC.
