So the game basically plays like the Ninja Storm games. It has too many cutscenes, and it's not a very well-told story. This game also has releases on the Switch and other platforms, so it should run on just about anything.
Unfortunately, that's why I'm giving it a thumbs down. Because, despite my skipping every cutscene and rushing through every dialogue, it crashes. Not on anything demanding, either, but a cutscene. And it crashes, because the coders were extremely lazy and clearly didn't know how to properly pass a command list in Unreal Engine.
Which would be okay if they'd actually fix it, or if I could get any help from support. But unfortunately, the only thing they do is waste time. After asking me for not only a DxDiag but also msinfo -- which I was not comfortable giving them, but I did anyway because I wanted to fix this problem -- they then waited without a word for over three days until I wrote them back to ask what was up. They then asked me for another DxDiag, which I told them (correctly) they didn't need. Then they decided to take another track and ask me to install some third-party app that I've never heard of.
But of course, by the time it crashed, even though I did rush through, it was over three hours, and it's reaching the two-week mark for me owning it, so thanks Sega for managing to dick me around this long. The guy in the discussions encourages you to contact tech support, but I will tell you plainly, here and now: DO NOT CONTACT SEGA TECH SUPPORT. THEY ARE TRASH.
Oh, and don't buy this game. It's a coin toss if it will work or randomly crash, and they clearly don't care to fix the problem, just to waste your time so you'll have a harder time refunding a game that doesn't work. And since it crashes in story mode, it makes the game impossible to complete, because you are then unable to unlock any of the things you have to play through the story to unlock, which includes over half of the stages.
