As always vijuda copies another game, in this case, copies Rush Rally Origin, no licenses whatsoever, not even remotely, to the point is ridiculous, the driving physics are trash.
The camera angle is very easy they took one of their games engine and put a fixed chase camera.
No opponents in track, so this was basically a copy paste from the woden gp 1, but without the fan part.
You compete with the friend list or the global list which to me is tryharding, and i like to see other cars in track, this is unacceptable in 2026
Copies gran turismo menuses
The music is as always, generic ai made trash.
Sound department is garbage just like in woden gp2, pales in comparison with Rush Rally Origins or Rush Rally.
On rails racing, lets see, well where we can find real rally courses in arcade games like Rush Rally and Circuit Superstars, this is just a bland, generic tasteless experience.
Tries to pull the nostalgia card way too many times, Vijuda, do something new, its getting old.
Rally physics are non existant, are the same physics as super woden 1, which to me was good, i flipped my car just by sliding though the barrier to see if it was glitched and it was.
Horrible game from horrible devs, horrible to see or watch.
It's not retro, pretends to be, but fails misserabily, it's a pathetic attempt of being in an arcade, for example if you continue, why does it pull you back? Arcade cabinets would put you in the same place where you got the game over if you insert a coin, the list goes on.
Crowd, cows, traffic signals are a tga texture, 100% flat, unacceptable.
No licenses, no nothing, just another game hoping on the train of rally because asetto corsa rally is "good" (it is not)
This is shovelware.
Avoid this title at all costs.
If you want arcade racing play Rush Rally, its better in all departments, sound, menu, physics, etc.
0/100
I would return it if it was free.

Nah. This is just frustrating to play imo. A rally game where your car gets immensely slowed if it goes... off road with even 1 tire. If you so much as graze a wall you become a pinball that bounces everywhere, with narrow walled bridges. The physics don't make any sense to me at all. Full screen chromatic aberration that scorches my eyeballs.

I've been clicking between positive and negative review several times because i'd really rather leave a neutral review but it is not an option.
Overall it's a pretty well crafted game, BUT this is not a RALLY game this is a silly arcade racer with rally cars in it.
The obvious game to compare RallyEdge to is Art of Rally.
- The biggest and most critical difference is the actual driving and handling, which obviously is number one priority for racing game. RallyEdge has NOTHING on Art of Rally here. Even tho both games fall into arcade category the difference is so big that it's like comparing Need for Speed with Gran Turismo. There is no significant difference in handling of RWD FWD and AWD cars in RallyEdge, it's all pretty much the same only some go faster than other. The weather does not affect driving at all, does not really matter if its raining or snowing, cars handle very similarly. Its virtually impossible to spin out the RWD car in RallyEdge which is a bummer.
- Both games kind of built on the same idea of "everything but the road is lava". However RallyEdge makes this concept especially infuriating. You lose a TON of speed every time your wheels touch side of the road. And collision (even the smallest) with bridges and haybales and other static objects has that awful physics that either make you lose all momentum or bounce you off.
Also the spectators in RallyEdge are static sprites, and sometimes stand in the worst of turns just for you to slide into them, where in Art Of Rally they are 3d dummies that actually avoid getting hit by your car, which really kind of resembles human behavior.
- The actual rally competition in RallyEdge done very simply. You will always have 2 top racers you compete against for the first place and they NEVER fail. Since game has no damage model there is no way of your car not making it to the finish. Where in Art of Rally there is always this random element of other racers having issues during race, some of them crash, pop a tire and just make it feel like everyone is vulnerable. That makes participating in a multi stage events pretty exciting because you have a bit more leeway to make mistakes knowing competitors could screw up as well.
- RallyEdge is a very well looking, aesthetically appealing and with many ways to customize the appearance. Art of Rally has it's charm but way too simplistic for my taste.
- RallyEdge seems to be a very well optimized game, always runs smoothly. Art of Rally despite it's minimalistic look does not run well on low spec pc even sometimes having issues on mid range machines.
- Personally i dislike music in RallyEdge, had to turn it all the way down because of how annoying it is. The ArtOfRally soundtrack, however, is a set of total bangers, every song is perfect.
Overall i would not recommend RallyEdge to anyone who is looking for a rally game. But that does not mean you can't have fun with it if you just want a silly arcade racer.

Funny cool game at start then you need to grind 10+ time the same race for money then you buy a trash car for the next class (cause they don't give you one after completing everything before) and you are stuck with no money left and need to grind even more to upgrade the car that will probably still be trash after. Fake chill game, if I want to sweat on a racing game I rather play Assetto or something that deserve your time.

It's pretty cool. Physics are interesting and fun to drive. But I don't like 3rd person camera and that is the only option in this game, There's no simple bumper, dash or driver cam. If you don't care about that, you may like it, but it's not for me.

great game, great physics. every car feels different, upgrades make sense, super fun challenges, online rankings ..
oh, online rankings. something funny happened on day 2 after the release: some crazy joker, an excellent driver btw, decided to use a rarely used car, the mylene rare hero to set online records on most maps. he succeeded.
the rare hero has been a good and especially fun car in wooden gp 2 (the predecessor) already. but it is by no means really competitive. and thus he is losing all his records, after a day or so, to other excellent drivers in better cars.
i could never beat him, but others find better alternatives to the rare hero and set new online records, atm.
why is this so funny? i dont mean to be mean, but buying and upgrading a car is expensive and lots and lots of players bought the rare hero thinking it was the best car out there. they spent lots of money because of these temporary records ... O_o
like me, for example. i also bought the rare hero.

Fantastic vibes, rewarding handling and the car rewards and upgrades are cool, very arcadey feel, just the sort of casual game I was after!

I also own the author's two previous games, Super Woden GP I and II, and my first impression after 3 hours is that this is the best game so far.
When you compare the menu, sounds, and graphics, at first it seems like there is not much progress compared to previous titles on the technical level, but I still love this game because:
* Rally fits the steering model of the series perfectly, it's fun to drive
* the tracks are really good: they do not feel like just sequences of the same pre-made left,right,medium-left curves but like real, organic tracks. They have very nice flow and some interesting height differences, jumps, etc. Very well done! There is a great combination of classic rally stages, some head 2 head, and gymkhana, but clear emphasis on rally stages.
* This is the perfect game to play when I need a break from Assetto Corsa Rally
* I love Rally
