I got sassy with the narrator so he force-closed the game. Off to a great start.

A rough launch due to the discount issue and the delay before we could actually download the game. The tutorial was immediately disappointing because of a bug that prevented me from placing a table. I had to close the game, and then I noticed that my refund had been accepted — but the money is still pending. So now I’m stuck waiting for my refund and unable to play the game. I ended up buying it again, but because the original refund is still being processed, that amount is temporarily locked in my Steam wallet. Honestly, all of this could have been avoided. It’s just not fun as a buyer to have to deal with these issues instead of simply playing. The tutorial bug is a real shame too.

I tried to fight the narrator. He closed the game... 10/10 will argue with him again Edit: There is an achievement for fighting the narrator. 11/10

Love it. Very atmospheric fantasy tavern keeping game. Waited ages for this! Definitely recommend, ignore the miserable negative Karen who could not cope with the steam refund system.

Game wanted me to join the tavern keepers guild. I told them off and so the game shut down and basically showed me the finger. 10/10 would recommend!

I'll write more later but so far, really impressed, from the animations, the humour to the awesome designing you can do. This is going to be a lot of fun! Don't forget to read the nested tool tips. iykyk.

So much potential, so many bugs. :( Staff keep getting stuck, items get dropped hanging in mid air, getting lots of error pop ups. Buy now if you want to invest in the future, I'm sure three or four patches from now it'll be awesome, but right now it's just a game of restart/reload be frustrated. I'll happily update when things are more playable.

Okay, current price is certainly too much for current state of the game. Game as well lacks a whole bunch of QoL, i would recommend devs to checkout "Two Point" games (for example Two Point Museum), because what they're doing from mechanics perspective is pretty similar. I also think "two point" guys nailed maps replayability

This game looks so fun, but maybe it needs more balance tuning? So far I've noticed if I'm making money my employees are angry that they work too much. So I cut back their work schedule several times until they stop complaining, then the bar is barely open long enough to make any money. Then they find other things to be angry about, steal from you because they're unhappy... Now I'm broke, have pissed off employees and I need to start over. I've done this twice already. So far in practice this game isn't anywhere close to as fun as I was hoping. Really hoping I'm missing something, but so far I'm not having a good time with it. =/ I've played a ton of management type games and for some reason this one just isn't clicking for me yet. It seems so straight forward but is also a very difficult balancing act. You provide your employees a free place to live at the bar and pay them, how are they so angry about every little thing. The employee happiness system needs to chill.

This has been in development for 10 years? Really? Might need another decade to make it fun. Employees are just permanently miserable with no way to make them happy other than firing them and hiring new ones. Let them update this for another year and buy on a deep sale. Kind of a bummer.

Apparently, I don't get enough of this shit at work. I am hooked.

i like this. finally a tavern game where you aren't a part-time farmer, blacksmither, brewer and cook. in this game you can actually just order what you need from shops.

I love any game that reminds me of early point-and-click adventure games'/Black & White's/Fable's humor, okay? I love it. I'll gobble it all up every single time.

Fun to decorate and has a good story to boot.

The narrator hides behind Dorothy and when you humiliate them by choosing oblivion over joining their guild they shut down the game, when you open the game back up it slanders you like a fascist would. What a great mechanic for a game and even though I'm not far in, and hardly ever leave reviews, if this is not worth a positive review nothing is.

I've been waiting for this game to come out since 2014 when I first caught wind of it, and let me tell you WE ARE SO BACK This absolutely surpasses all of my initial expectations from when I first heard about this game, and I am so eager to finally have my hands on it. I love Greenheart Games!

It's been years since I first heard about this game. Trusting them blindly thanks to Game Dev Tycoon, I decided not to even touch the betas of Greenheart Games' new title so I could be surprised by everything from its official release. I haven't played it long, and so far I've enjoyed it, but I feel the need to write this positive review now to suport this studio from day one. Bravo!
