If you like mechs/gundams and going FAST, this is the game. The soundtrack, the blur, the feel, everything feels crafted to perfection to give you the experience of MECH RACING. There is truly nothing like the feel when you start taking the corners at your peak in this game. Oh and once again I'll bring it up, the soundtrack is crafted PERFECTLYYY for you to SPEEEEED.
Tip though: USE THE FIXED LOCK-ON BUTTON FOR COMBAT and TURN OFF THE ASSISTS! THEY DO NOT HELP AT ALL.
After playing until the higher difficulties as well as figuring out how to set up a proper build, It seems most of the difficulty comes from trying to get the physics engine to do what you want. The enemy AI will at some points feel as if they have super vision with perfect accuracy from the other side of the map whilst im trying to get the UI to lock onto a single target. Ill be honest and say im not the greatest at races, but the same issue remains that it feels that im competing with the physics engine rather than the AI competitors. The customization and building aspect is amazing and i have no real complaints in that department.
Overall if you're looking for something akin to Armored Core: For Answer with even more customization. Look no further.
Break arts III is hands down one of my favorite mech games of all time now that ive played through the grand prix, its a massive improvement over the second game and the controls feel so much smoother, however i can understand why it was delayed initially, it has pretty bad optimization, and the AOE shot type grinds my frames to a halt when multiple explosion go off, that and a couple weird bugs and crashes here or there, but overall it is 100% worth your time and money if going fast in cool mechs is your thing
I really want to like this game but I can't yet. It is really rough, does not feel like a finished game, more like one that just went into early access. There are serious bugs such as character stuck turning at the start of a race.
Worst track design of any racing game I have ever played. Everything feels like a more miserable rainbow road, everything is too narrow with no walls.
Mech customization is really cool but everything else feels so unpolished.
To the Devs: Unity Tip, you need to preload particle effects, when you instantiate a new particle effect for the first time it will freeze during the load causing stutter.
This game is sensational. Incredible. The peakest of the peak. Now what I have to say will not apply to most people, but under my circumstances, I waited aged for this game to come out and i have one BLARING issue with when i play it. THE PERFORMANCE. most people have enough to play this game but my pc only has 4 Gb of Vram while the minimum specs for this game is 6. i have it on the lowest settings and its still running at 20fps. I have 32 Gb of memory too, so the Vram is the only issue. Playism, please add some way to lower the Vram requirement because this game is a treasure but i can't play it very well. I understand that the game looks amazing but i just want to be able to fight someone without my game freezing whenever they do anything.
Hey so this game is pretty good. It has an absolutely autistic amount of customization features and the gameplay is pretty smooth(granted I am running it on low, still looks pretty good though). Would get it if you are an AC fan such as myself.
