Imagine, once upon a time there was a game with quite a lot of content. It had crafting, duos, large maps and good combat. This game was called Super People. Then came the dark times. An update was released and the game, which was once called Super People is now called Super People 2. You might now ask what happened to the first part? It never existed. There is only Super People 2. But don't forget, just like Super People, Super People 2 is in early access! Let me now tell you about the tragedy of Super People 2. You remember the crafting system from Super People ? -> Gone. Remember Duos? -> Gone. Remember Large Maps (play area) -> Gone (now small play area). You remember good combat? -> Gone. You now have hovering health bars and other stuff. Remember 10 skills per character? -> Now you have 4. Remember Lots of Weapon tiers and armor tiers? -> Now only a bit over half of that. But don't worry, there are not only downsides. You want to hear the positive? There is now a 2 in the name.

any game that has to rebrand as a sequel less than 3 months after release should be permanently banned from steam

Oh, you gave the game a negative review because you have to put your phone number to make an account? Well I had to give my passport, social security number, home address, bank info and credit card info to get my tournament payout. Yes I sold my entire identity to play this game, that's how good it is.

No BattlEye support for linux. This might've been okay eight years ago, but you can't seriously release a game on steam without making sure it runs on the SteamDeck :/

Why would you say the release date is Oct 8th when it is obviously not October 8th? There is a pre-load function on steam that this game did not use. The game isn't available until the 11th. It says nothing on this page or their client that hints to the ACTUAL release date. I had to google it. Totally unprofessional.

TL;DR Most of the negative reviews are due to people being afraid of change. The game is a more arcady version of PUBG and is in a very good place right now. The game isn't overrun with hackers, just players that are not very good. I'm one of those people that never writes reviews but felt it necessary due to the baseless hate for this game. Super People was re-branded to Super People 2 due to a major update that changed the game. It's not supposed to be seen as a sequel but more of a 2.0 type thing. That's the impression I get anyway. Some of the things changed in the update: - Increased base movement speed - Removed a lot of perks that were useless - Increased Time To Kill (TTK) - Removed the crafting system that let you upgrade weapons and armor by finding components on the map. The end result is a much, MUCH faster game. You can get around the map faster, you don't have to spend so much time looting crafting materials, and a lot of the clutter from useless perks are now gone, simplifying classes. The game now feels like a faster, more arcady version of PUBG. So if that's what you're looking for, this game is for you. The crafting system: Most people, including myself, were against getting rid of the crafting system because it made the game unique. However, the crafting system dramatically increased your time spent looting rather then fighting. I quite content without the crafting system. It just made everything too slow. I'm willing to bet most of the people who are upset by this haven't played the game since the change. I think it would be fine if they brought the crafting back but it would slow the game down quite a bit. Perks: Classes used to have 9 perks, 1 ultimate ability, and sometimes some passives. The game was simplified to have 3 perks, 1 passive perk, and 1 ultimate per class. Most of the perks removed were things like "+10% defense when near water." They were very, VERY situational which made them pretty useless and forgettable. On rare occasions you could die to someone who had slightly extra defense or damage because you didn't realize they were standing in a puddle. Removing these perks got rid of a lot of weird situations where you would die while feeling like you were winning the gun fight. It removed a lot of the inconsistencies and randomness from combat. Hackers: The steam reviews would have you believe hackers are a rampant problem in this game. I have played close to 30 hours and have not come across a single hacker. I'm sure they exist, like they do in any game, but they're not that big of a problem. Time To Kill: Prior to the changes to TTK, you would get on-shot by almost every sniper or die in half a second during fire fights. The TTK was increased by a lot meaning you actually have to be able to track your targets with your aim now. I think this is where the frustration is. Most people just want to land their first shot to win. Overall, the combat is much more skill based due to needing to track targets and not so reliant on the first shot to win. The store: The pricing in the in-game store is absurd. Everything is priced a bit higher than the in-game currency packages offered. For example, you can buy 800 Diamonds (In-game currency) for $20 and 400 Diamonds for 10$ but the battle pass is 500 Diamonds so you have to spend 20$ to get the battle pass and then you're left with leftover currency you don't want. The skins are very good but they need to be cheaper. They have a good mix of sexy skins and Epic looking skins but again, they need to be cheaper. 25-30$ is too much for in-game visuals. The game is in a much more enjoyable state since the 2.0 update overall. It might be cool to see a simplified version of the crafting system return at some point. They need to work on adding more maps or something so there's more content. It seems like people are frustrated that the crafting system was removed and aren't willing to give the new game a chance so they're complaining about every little thing, some of it not even legitimate complaints. And those same people claim that anyone who likes the game in it's current state must be paid actors. The game play changed rather dramatically with 2.0 so the people who liked the old game play are inevitably going to be mad and leave negative reviews. Just take this into consideration when evaluating the game.

It pains me to make this review, it really does. I was really excited for the release of the game but now i'm just straight up disappointed. I played over 450 hours in multiple CBT phases and the game was amazing in alpha. As CBT phases went by the game started going downhill. A bit of performance issues here and there but playable in my setup (i9 9900k 1080super). Audio was great (I could actually hear directional and proximity steps with clarity). Dueling of drop was always a bad thing in this game but still "okay'ish". Damage resistances and TTK (time-to-kill) were fine (some passives were a bit too strong tho). Gameplay was overall fun and addictive despite being so similar with other game (which for me was a good thing). Present Day:This game has a very weird resistance system when comes to damage. I acknowledge that since there is rarity within armor and weapons, it might not be as simple to tune/fix. But the thing is this was very okay in early CBTs. Now? In my opinion it is just awful. Epic/Purple weapon vs Green vest and you get more then 50% of your damage resisted? Nothing better then hit a long sniper headshot and see 70 dmg done and over 200 dmg resisted, despite having a better quality sniper then the helmet. Class passives and energy bars were taken in consideration and they weren't active in many situations, after checking replays. How does that make any sense? The more they touch this the worst it gets. Hopefully someday they get it right. • Audio is non existent in a lot of situations (animations like jump and vault, player footsteps*). *With the exception of team mates and your own, which constantly seems like you have someone else creeping behind due to the delay of your own steps sound).Graphics settings seems to provide no alterations at all.Visual quality is ALWAYS bad no matter what, like really bad. This has more pixels then minecraft (might be a good appeal to newer generations tho).Probably the worst rendering I've experienced in last couple of years. There are situations where players are literally invisible (they can see you but you can't see them). This is caused by bad rendering and bad physics by the developers.European servers are a joke (that seems to be the trend nowadays). We continue to have players connecting from Asia and Africa due to lack of better options. Which leads to constant lag / sync issues between some players. Wish we had proper and multiple region servers (at very least West and East) and ping limiter. • Class/Weapons balance. There are broken abilities and weapons that are clearly A LOT better then others. Let's leave it at that. • Cheaters were to be expected since it's a F2P fps but there A LOT of them, at least in Europe server. I played over 24 hours since the release (10/11/2022). Been top 10 in Solo FPP multiple times (between multiple CBTs) so I consider myself to be an okay player. Take that as you want. Despite all this, the game is playable specially since it's a Free-to-play. I want the game to succeed. But I'm very disappointed since the game was so much better then it is today.

Apparently the type of Email I use isn't good enough so it won't even let me verify my account. I want to play the game but they're telling me I can't because of the Email I use, and I don't have and am not making another one. 0/10 fix your shit. Allow players to use outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, ect. Otherwise how can you expect me to put up with your 3rd party garbage? My steam account is verified and ready. Why I need to use your GeeGee platform when it's actually gutted? I have no clue

In summary, Super People is the Cuck Master of Battle Royale Games. Why? *Super People will be replaced with ‘Super Cuck’ Movement/Mechanics -> PUBG derived playability with improved FPS and smoothed out gameplay. Blueballs have had 7+ years to touch up PUBG, Super Cuck have taken the blueprint and improved. Snooze you Lose! Grading System -> Grey, Green, Blue, Purple and Gold. Fortnite’s ‘Sesame Street’ colour schemes have been adapted (copied) and applied to Super Cuck’s Equipment and Weapon grading system. Crafting -> Collect materials and Craft items, weapons and gear… sound familiar? Facepunch’s best and worst creation Rust has had its unique elements pulled upon in Super Cuck’s gameplay (simplified and accelerated however). Class and Casting -> To prevent the outright plagiarism of the aforementioned games, Super Cuck thought it would be wise to further imitate and morph another FPSs ‘unique/separating factor’. Valorant’s Class and Casting has been adopted with a more progressive approach and the inclusion of a talent tree system. Parachuting/ Map/ Ui/ Model loadout -> Finally in an effort to further tap, snap and snatch. Super Cuck has peeled all the goodies from COD when it comes to Parachuting, Map interaction, Ui & Model Loadouts. I almost had to ask my self what game or games I was playing when entering the zone. To Close out... Super Cuck has taken, bastardised and improved qualities of multiple BR games and presented it as a Free-to-Play game. At the cost of $0 it’s a game worth playing and plenty of fun. It should be considered the Chameleon of Battle Royales. The player base appears to be Chinese dominated, which is fine because when my baby Australian flag appears on the top right of my screen, no Chow Mein, Wonton, Ma Po Tofu loving Soy Boy can do a God Damn THING! to stop my 6’2 frame of Excellence.

No OCE servers after promising them. Bin the game and tell everyone you know to bin the game in Aus. They literally asked OCE players to promote the game to their friends in 'hopes' they'd add Aus servers. Are you joking? You've genuinely just asked your players to work for you for free for a false reward.
