This is a fun game. I haven't played the previous years games. I am confused why all the bowlers seem to be exactly the same except for their animations. Why are there no stats for the bowlers? What's the point in licensing all of them when they all play exactly the same with the only difference being that they have different balls and whether they are left handed or right handed? What really confuses me is a career mode in most sports games consists of improving your bowlers stats over time, with this game you start out just as good as the pros and the only point in the career mode is to collect more balls and cosmetic items that do nothing. Also why do we not get to select different weights for the balls? There is also some really weird animations that the bowlers do that make them look like they are imitating a pregnant Frankenstein's monster. I wish I could recommend to only buy this only on sale. I don't think it is worth the full price. Like I said the game is fun, but I feel this is a very minimum effort from the developers. I hope PBA 2028 or 2029 continues to improve and actually makes every bowler unique with different stats and a career mode where you have to build character up by improving stats. Developers please check out Ten Pin Alley for the Playstation. That game gave each bowler three ratings: power, accuracy, and spin. Also you could choose your ball weight and type. Please add some professional female bowlers next time. I think if FarSight Studios adds these things to the game and continues to expand on the career mode this game could end up being the best bowling game series ever.

Out of all the games this snail has tested, this one has had the best bowling and the prettiest characters I've seen. As a Maryland native, I'm very excited to see duckpin bowling show up... though it is to my shame that I found candlepin to be more fun XD The career mode is pretty solid, too. Absolutely leagues (hah!) better for first-time players than in the last game. Absolutely recommend for fans of bowling, sports gamers, or anyone who wants a chance to throw a ball and see big numbers happen

This is the best game ive ever played, the mechanics of this game is good for you can see some bug that the bowler doesnt hold the bowling ball and its just floating but overall the bowling balls in this game you can see it has much than the PBA bowling 2023. I buy this game just for the Storm Ion Max XD But to the developers, i love you making this game and i hope you can fix minor bugs for this gameee as well :)

Great game. Uses real physics for ball motion with real life like oil changes where you have to chase the transition.

Really enjoying the game so far. Feels very realistic, even down to adjustments that need to be made for the oil patterns. It was also a nice surprise to have duckpin and candlepin added! Will hopefully start streaming the game soon!

As someone who has bowled on these PBA patterns often and an aspiring PBA Regional bowler, these are the best bowling physics in a video game. And the selection of pros who did their own motion capturing adds a nice touch to the game, especially those who had not appeared in previous PBA Pro Bowling games. In my career character, I have purchased all the bowling balls in the game that I own in real life, and treating it as a simulator rather than just a game. I would love to try to take my time experimenting in this game onto the lanes and use it as a tool to improve my own bowling skills. The real-time oil breakdown is a really nice touch and helps show why professional bowling isn't as easy as it seems. Shoutouts to Keven Williams for having his music on the main menu, I've taken a deeper look at his music because of this game's release. And I gotta support my fellow lefties! One thing I'd love to see implemented in a future update or installment is a greater distinction between solid/pearl/hybrid coverstock types. Like instead of just a 1 to 10 overall strength rating, display how early/late the ball wants to change directions down-lane, and how fast/slow the ball reacts to friction. For example, the Jackal Ghost and the Black Widow Mania are two very different kind of balls in real life, but both have a 9.0 hook rating in the game, and they feel virtually identical. Which is not a bad thing, but it's a suggestion to give that extra bit of realism and gameplay depth. Thank you to the dev team for being super passionate on the project, and for hosting the bowling community while hyping the game up on Discord. I hope this game gets the love it deserves.
