I tend to be hard to impress. Unfortunately, I find this game to be just Resident Evil but voiced by streamers. That might seem like an odd thing to say but I literally mean it, it's Resident Evil, with all of the flaws included. It doesn't do anything to separate itself or make itself improved over the original. It's also probably less polished than the original as well, which ends up hurting the overall package. Almost all of the threats in the sections I played can be solved by just shooting and I never seemed to be too low on ammo.
I ended up stopping around when you get the shotgun as they script a 20 zombie ambush right after you pick it up. I killed half of the zombies and left the other half, as to not waste all of the shotgun ammo I had. When I entered one of the motel rooms, I had not realized that the original spawn point for the other half was directly in front of the motel room, which had me quite literally exit the room into a crowd of 10 zombies at point blank because that's where the ambush had originally placed them.
If you really like Resident Evil 1, with every flaw (and more) included and voiced by streamers, go for it. If not, I'd say you're better off without it.

I played the demo for this game several months ago and was BEYOND impressed. I'm really not into games where I have fixed camera's and tank controls, but MAN did this game change my mind. I had eagerly awaited its release and sure enough, I haven't been disappointed. I was also surprised by the fact there's two characters to play as with separate expereinces between them!
I loved Massacre at the Mirage, and I love this game from this Dev. I can't wait to finish it and see what else Tainted Pact has in store!

I really enjoy this game, it's what I expect a good survival horror to be, small complaint is some bugs and crashes I don't know if it's my computer or some bugs left unchecked. I strongly recommend this game if you're big into survival horror!

Resident evil 1 with even worse voice acting. wouldn't even be upset if the game would just let me set the right resolution.

This game was great! I played as Nat first time around and this is a love letter to og RE and Silent Hill without a doubt, down to the jankness of it. Those that love tank controls will be in heaven playing this. Bosses were great, puzzles were pretty easy to get down and just the right length in gameplay like the old days. My tiny gripe is I wish you could remap the controls as I didn't like where the quickturn and dodge buttons were located but other than that, 9 out of 10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Nostalgia is on point with this one! Definitely some RE 1 feels but with better graphics. The controller on Steam Deck works really well, and I'm enjoying the game so far. The music matches the vibe, and the voice work is clear! Definitely recommend this game!

Excellent throwback to the tank control horror greatness. there's metal (I'm looking at you, Puritania by Dimmu Borgir), humor, great 80s horror atmosphere and fun gameplay here, with not too challenging puzzles. Comfy horror game, very enjoyable and doesn't overstay its welcome.
Hope to see a sequel one day.

ENG:
Flesh Made Fear is a true return to the roots of survival horror – dark, slow, and relentlessly tense. It combines tank controls, limited saves, and fixed cameras with modern presentation and a thick, oppressive atmosphere. Every step feels heavy, every encounter painfully real. Tainted Pact proves that fear doesn’t need explosions to work — it thrives in silence, uncertainty, and vulnerability. For fans of the old Resident Evil games, this is a must-play: chilling, raw, and brilliantly unsettling.

Flesh Made Fear je skutočný návrat ku koreňom survival (PS) hororu – temný, pomalý a nekompromisne napínavý. Kombinuje tankové ovládanie, obmedzené uloženia a pevné kamery s modernou prezentáciou a hutnou atmosférou.

Awesome throw back to Resident Evil. Great and cheesy voice acting from youtubers (backed it because of the Vtuber Layna Lazar)
Have only made it to the sewers but already loving the design of everything overall. Challenging combat with classic tank controls and an added dodge forward button. All of the easter eggs are great from streamer plushies to an Evil Dead nod when flushing the toilet.
Only gripe I have with it is the no manual reload. Unless I'm not understanding how you do it you have to empty your whole clip before you can reload which is annoying when in combat with a boss enemy.

I absolutely loved Flesh Made Fear. From the sound design, to the visuals and gameplay, everything oozes atmosphere and nostalgia. The boss battles are fun and intense, and the game perfectly captures that classic Resident Evil vibe while adding its own dark, twisted personality. The subtle humour sprinkled throughout gives it a unique charm that sets it apart — it’s easily one of my top horror games of the year.
(Possible spoilers below!)
After finishing Jack’s campaign, you unlock the chance to play as Natalie — something I was really excited about, as I wanted to see her side of the story. While her campaign reuses much of Jack’s content (aside from a few new areas and an alternate boss battle), it still made for a quicker, enjoyable second run, especially for collecting the remaining plushies and exploring alternate endings.
I loved The Ripper’s Room, where all your collected plushies are displayed, complete with silhouettes of the ones you’ve missed — such a great touch for completionists. Taking control of the Ripper later was a total surprise, and it left me really hoping for a sequel (and yes, the basement during that section is worth checking out 👀).
I also tried Hardcore Mode — tough but fair, as long as you conserve ammo wisely for unavoidable hordes and the boss battles.
Overall, Flesh Made Fear is an incredible throwback to classic survival horror with just enough modern polish to make it feel fresh. A must-play for fans of the genre!
