I refunded it, the 6 notes background music looping forever, the repetitive dialogues, i counted about 6 of them for each character whenever something actually happens...
some drinks straight up do nothing and just makes the characters say flavour text sometimes not even related to the drink...
after finding that repeating 10 times the same drink it would do something different, tried it for the other character but they said "no".
no interactions between characters except flavour text.
i saw absolutely nothing from the dlc content, what is it actually supposed to add ??
sure there might be many other transformations i couldnt find but the lack of unique interactions and the designs clearly being aimed to horrific proportions even for things like "hug"... and the design dosent even convey any hug...

Genuinely would give this a neutral review, but as steam doesn't have this option i'll just leave it at thumbs up
I like the ideea of splitting the price of the game, instead of forcing everyone to pay full price and making the dlc free just for some people to have it restricted because region reasons, so this way restricted people can enjoy the normal game without needing to pay fully for it.
Can use some quality of life, like i wanna know which scene is nsfw (which let's be honest this is the main reason we purchase the game for) so i don't have to spam each time the seggs cup.
And lots of potential scenes wasted, yes the animations are better than the first game but like 9/10 times i think "oh this one has a nsfw scene" but nope just dissapointment, even a bunch of stuff we saw in the first game is not available here (most notable the futa cup).
Honestly it feels rushed, yes there are 600+ words you can put in the machine, but what's the point if most of them are just fillers and contain no transformation or nsfw scene.
Edit: actually there is a scene with the futa cup, you just have to give something to the guy first, would have been nice to get a hint though

I don't know why this game got high ratings. It is annoying and boring. I don't see the point. The AI is very limited and uses repeated stock phrases trying to force a story that doesn't work.

I wanted SCP vibes, not an infinite torture loop
Thank you to the devs for the curator key. This is nonetheless an impartial review, written as if I had bought the game myself. Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is a weird little experiment where you brew drinks that absolutely should not exist and watch what they do to two unfortunate characters. I came in because the concept screamed SCP-294 energy, and at first, I had a genuinely good time poking at the machine like a curious gremlin. There are hundreds of drinks, combinations, and visual changes, and experimenting with them is fun… at least early on. The art is creative, the intro animation is neat, and there’s clearly imagination poured into this thing. A hint system exists, achievement names help nudge you toward discoveries, and SFW and NSFW content are clearly separated, which I appreciated. That curiosity starts to wear thin pretty fast, though. Everything is extremely repetitive: the music, the animations, the dialogue, the whole loop. Sometimes you even have to intentionally give some drinks repeatedly! You can’t permanently skip certain animations, so if you’re testing combinations quickly, you’ll be watching the same reactions again and again. Bookmarking helps a little, but you can only save one transformation per character, which gets frustrating fast when you stumble onto multiple interesting results. On top of that, reverting to a bookmark wipes the recent drink history, so tracking what you just did becomes even messier. There’s also no proper way to see which drink caused which outcome, which makes completionist play feel like guesswork instead of discovery. Now for the personal but important part. I’m very comfortable with gore, horror, and SCP-style games, and I knew I wasn’t getting the NSFW DLC. What I didn’t expect was how focused the game becomes on repeated, intense suffering. At first it’s quirky and unsettling, but if you try to explore everything, you’re repeatedly putting the characters through extreme pain, existential breakdowns, and body horror, over and over. After a while, it stopped feeling experimental and started feeling like I was watching the same torture play out with slightly different flavors. Combined with the grind and lack of tracking, it completely killed my motivation. There’s a creative idea here and a strong visual identity, but between the repetition, the poor organization tools, and how heavy the suffering becomes, it’s not something I can recommend unless you already know you’re very tolerant of that kind of content. For more reviews like this one, please check out Ele's Little Recommendation Corner!

Lacks a switch for horror stuff. The concept is pretty cool, but most of these are body horror for the sake of it.
Good drinks turn bad for no reason, "strawberry" somehow transforms them into something scary with no real reason or connection.
Doesn't recognize a lot of stuff, even simple stuff like eggnog, energy drink or root beer.
Feels like a body horror image dump with AI written all over it. Literally, the game's writing has been done with AI.

The story - empty like space.
Design - boring like coffee from MacDonalds
Concept - every product picture vs reality
Music - free to play royal free music that got 5 second on loop.
Art - sometimes interesting, but most of it without any ideas. Impotence
Nsfw - very standard, it was made by student who was afraid to add all combinations. Only standard based.
What a fail.

Boring as hell.
You just type in words until you guess all the words for each letter.
You let the girl drink it and then you drink it to see all the art for each 'drink'.
$6.99 base price?
Maybe if it was less than a dollar but there's no substantive gameplay here.
