Pre-ordered the deluxe edition
First impressions:
Major improvement than the previous Demon slayer game with many additional content and characters. Is it worth the 60$ asking price? If you’re only interested in the Story mode and the offline content I’d advise you to wait till it’s on sale as it gets very dull and bare bones when you complete everything.

Edit: 60 FPS for battles/ultimates Requires you to change the graphical settings to max
Final thoughts
60$ is a decent asking price for the game for the amount of content that’s available right now. (if its on sale it’s a definite buy) But if you enjoy a casual experience and aren’t fond of the online competitive play and just want to play the story mode then this is way better then the previous Hinokami Chronicles.
Online needs a few improvements, even with good latency it lags sometimes which ruins the whole PvP.
I never liked the story mode either, way too easy.
But what do you expect from an anime game, not like games like these are going to last long anyway.
Some of the demons, especially Akaza also deserved more attention. Like getting another ult for example. I still expect a DLC with a second Akaza and Douma. I don't care that much about the rest.
Overall, I would like to recommend this game if only the online PvP was good. PvP was the reason most of us bought this game anway.
I bought the last game too late to experience it's peak PvP and was hoping to experience it this time, but let's see.
I don't regret buying this game, but I'm not saying that you SHOULD buy this game, considering that it also costs much since it's a brand new game.
This game is great! Don't get me wrong, butttttt!! You cannot play as the mice in this game, so therefor. I have to give the game a 0/10.

Rapaziada, quem tá dando avaliação positiva nesse jogo tá maluco ou deve ser bot kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk porque o jogo tá cheio de bug no pvp online, teve uma galera que tentou fazer um campeonato e não tão conseguindo porque o jogo simplesmente CRACHA, não tem remote to play pra jogar com amiguinho, é como um amigo meu me disse era muito melhor lançar uma dlc e deixar as coisas como tava no primeiro, péssimo trabalho.
dont buy it till like 2 years if you planning to play on pc bc it has very bad controls for keyboards and mouses i cant adjust them or game doesnt even reads my presses in cutscenes so its like fan made game that not even worths 20 dollars
in my opinion straight doo doo, for its price, like what the actual F do u mean i payed 60 euro for a game that uses the same voiceline for 80 diffrent interactions??? A roblox demon slayer adaptation is honestly better. im heavily dissapointed because i love demon slayer but actually, watch the anime, and dont buy this game. Straight up bot comments here
This game has pop-in. Yeah, a anime game that has pop-in. I re-downloaded the first game to see if it has these issues and nope, it doesn't. A sequel somehow works worse than its predecessor. Also, why are some scenes that were 60 FPS last game suddenly 30 FPS now? I guess 60 FPS is too much to ask in 2025 *sigh*. I'm personally done supporting these kinds of games. They feel more like lazy cash grabs nowadays than actual passion projects like the Storm games were.
Story is good, gamplay is good, i would give it a 8/10.
it would be 10/10 if:
1) the price wasn't so expensive as the price they charge is matching AAA title games in the market.
2) there is a proper guide / tutorial for each character on some simple combo to maximize the damage output.
3) make it cross play so we could search other player easier online, otherwise it might takes forever to get a opponent with stable connection from both parties
with this 3 point added, i would give it a 10 easily, other than that, not much of issue with this game.
As of now, basically i need to search online or youtube to learn each character combo pattern which is kinda difficult and complicated, I just wish they could add on the command list by displaying it on the practice mode etc.
NPC interaction is dumb dead. Not expected for a 2025 AI-powered game. Mediocre... for a $70 price tag... btw has this 70 bucks already included the 'BIG BEAUTIFUL tarifF' slapped on Japan by agent Orange Taco Epstein?
