I'm gonna say this one time and one time only, black people be going on adventures too. To have it where character customization is limited to different hair color and the color of your outfit is weird. The game seems like it's fun but the character customization is too limited.

Body type 1 - Body Type 2.. No thanks I'll get a refund. It's male and female. Game also crashes every time u close it. And they are deff not shy on the data analytics.

The game looks and feels like garbage, and it is. As much as I was hyped initially when I saw the trailer, the game is just terrible. Textures look ugly, characters look even uglier. It's almost like I returned to Digger Online from 2013. Also ridiculous how in 2025 when making a sandbox survival game you can't make trees to drop the blocks above the one you chopped. I'm not asking for falling trees or dynamic growing trees, JUST DROP THE BLOCKS WHEN I BREAK ONE BLOCK OF A TREE. Ridiculous how Minecraft also doesn't have it. Also just stupid progression, tin is tier 2 material when iron is tier 1, also for some reason tin mines longer then iron, are you serious? How you can be this stupid, just dumb. Combat is trash as well, aiming with a gun doesn't do shit, 0.05x zoom and that's it? How about making it actually putting a gun in front of you like in Battlefield or whatever and using gun's sight? Melee animations are horrible. Also why the hell would you make CUBIC planets that turn into SPHERES when you fly away from them? Seriously what's wrong with you, how bad can you make the design of this game. And this is not even early access, why? Don't make this is a full release if you have no idea what you're doing. Plot is mostly fine, eh, could be better. Music is fine. Shaders and clouds (lol) are nice.

Imagine Minecraft and No Man's Sky went out and got drunk and had the best sex of their lives. 9 Months later this little guy came out and their best friend Empyrion Galactic Survival was named the godfather and helped them raise the kid right. That kid is Cubic Odyssey and it's freaking glorious.

Game has potential but the multiplayer / co-op experience is horrible. Only the host can progress the quest as well as do certain actions like owning vehicles and ships. Was met with a "only the host can do this action" a few times.

No Manscraft

Just two things, the art direction are awful, the character design its horrible. The textures UHD, the blocks combined with the Voxels, i mean its a good try, but nothing seems be unified in the art. The other thing is the story, how can i take this game seriusly if the principal argument its about a princess queen in a wonderful castle, like a child story, that completely takes me out of the immersion I hope they work in this on the future. BUT ITS NOT A BAD GAME, its just me complained haha

Sadly, as stated in previous topic in Steam Discussions (6 pros and 6 cons) I've to leave negative here. Sadly, the game is georgeus in first 5 hours but later starts to be full of lies and misinterpretations from the developers. Example is simple. Very cool situation when we are entering red-corruption world is the last time. Sadly. Building your own cool base is quite useless as we will fly out spaceship in 95% of the time... Spaceship... That is... Horribly bugged. Everything I placed there got reset when I repaired my starship. So 2 hours of construcion and trying to fix the ship design to look I want was gone. Later I discovered that everything game has to offer in endgame is equal to destroying red-corruption sources. Like 50 times to the end of the game. Boring as fuck. Artstyle, this cubic world and cubic planets are interesting and nice, very cool idea, no loading screens but... For what? AI of enemies is a joke, so whole game can be glitched or abused using sniper rifle. Many pirate bases are not turning again into NPC city, like it was ONCE in the questline. Sadly, very dissapointing in long term of playing.

What Mine Craft should have become if Microsoft didn't get their hands on it.

Co-op is host dependant, makes the experiance unbearable for my friend, cant progress, cant break chests, stations, doors or pretty much anything man made block. bought it for the Co-op and as of right now this game is not worth it. i will change my review if the devs can turn this to a true Co-op experiance. otherwise this game is not for me.

I've only played a short time but I can tell this is going to be one of those 1000+ hour games. Everything about it is satisfying - the progression, the building, the digging, the exploration, the weapons, the vehicles, the story, etc. It just feels right, and if you like other "block style" games like Minecraft, Vintage Story, etc., you'll love this one.

Holy crap this game is more fun than the girl I'm banging.

This is not a ship building game. The thumbs down is based off what I thought the game was going to be from the Info I had read about it on the steam page. As I'm assuming I was not alone in having these assumptions. And yes I know what happens when you assume :) This game is fun and very good looking when you know what it is. I was given a key to play through there creator program. I went in thinking it was one thing. Then after playing for a while found out it was another. I should also clarify I don't play games for there story or lore. As that is not something that appeals to me. So it was never my intentions to play through the story. That being said when I play next my plan is to do a rare ship hunt and see how many I can acquire. I wish I world have read there "Answering your first questions" post on there website. I went in expecting full ship building. As it says in the "crafting and building paradise" part on the steam page. "Mine resources, refine materials, and build everything from tools and outposts to vehicles and starships." Where as when read there website Q&A with the question - How detailed will ship customization be? The answer "You will be able to upgrade your ship with better modules. We’re still looking into other customization options." As of when I played there is not a way to move the guns on your ship. I tried and the only way I found was to delete the blocks they are attached to. Then take the ship out and they snap to the ship. I'm not sure how the game picks where. If you figure out the system I'm sure there is a rather tedious way to move the guns. As ship blocks are placed 1 by 1 in the ship editor. A smaller complaint I think people will have is the crafting. Crafting is a bit of a grind. Things are level blocked rather then material blocked. So if you have the materiel but not the level you can't craft it. The game is fun and I'll definitely be playing more if and when they update the game.

It's meh, if you're looking for an actual survival game look elsewhere. It's incredibly easy even compared to minecraft, no eating or drinking features or really any real survival features you'd find in a typical survival voxel game. The only feature that makes it stand out among the 100s of voxel games is the "space travel" but even that feels "meh". Maybe if the survival mode actually makes the game feel less like a child's game then I'll change my review, but currently it just feels like your typical voxel with a "space travel" gimmick that doesn't really make it stand out. 5/10 overall score Idle Players club

I'm getting kind of tired of the NMS/Minecraft descriptions. Yes it's voxel based and not shy about being cubic. Dig we must! Yes, you're supposed to rescue the damsel in distress, and gearing up to do so is the focus of the main story quest. But other than an elevator pitch, this has more going for it than that. Try the demo, and I bet you'll like it.

It's fine solo. However, I have been looking forward to this game for awhile after my friend suggested it. Really cool concept, but what baffles me is the fact that this game is marketed as a co-op game, but you can't even leave the first planet if you're in co-op because there's no way for your friend to get a ship. The only way to get a ship is to buy it.... from a space station. You can't sit in a friends ship either and explore. This is quite a unique level of incompetency. This game has potential, but the game breaking co-op features is what holds this back. Let's hope this is fixed sooner rather than later, but with the "Maybe we'll rework it" comment from the developer, I don't have hopes it'll get done anytime soon.
